Welcome to The Next Gen Collaborative, a new and improved concept in content and media creation, a new system of empowering long-distance learning with global stewardship, a network with a social purpose,an exclusive network for individuals in the arts and entertainment community-- a place for creators, producers and directors to chat, network, and share ideas to potentially build and establish projects.

THE NEXT GEN COLLABORATOR

The Next Gen Collaborator accepts submissions in the following creative disciplines: Music, Writing, Acting, Directing, Producing, Acting, Editing, Promotions, Art and Design

Acceptable submissions

Submitting work to the Next Gen Collaborator immerses you into a talent pool unlike any other---a network of like-minded creative individuals that believe in the power of creative collaboration as it enables art and productions. Unlike trying to pitch an idea to TV networks or film studios, ideas are selected by our advisory board of experts and then are surrounded by creative talent that would like to collaborate on the project and see it come to fruition. Instead of “Getting a Job for Hire,” the those who collaborate on the project secure ownership in its outcome, enabling all parties to work together to see a quality production dedicated to the success of its core mission. Unlike trying to please a TV network that seeks out ratings, projects are heart-felt productions that are enabled, both in production and in marketing, by the swarm of its collaborative network.

Cost

There is no cost to participate and benefits are unlimited. Instead of waiting for a studio exec, book publisher or TV executive to make a decision, the power of the collaborative becomes the enabler. After all, it’s the team that wants it to succeed, unlike media executives whose jobs are to keep their jobs.

Success Stories

As this is a new project, one cannot predict how successful any of the projects will become. However, in taking a look on the success of certain social networks, one can only imagine the possibilities. Unlike social networks such as Facebook or Linked-In, The Collaborator grants ownership to the community. With Facebook, the community enables the success and traffic of other social networks that then sell advertising to their benefit without compensating those that enables its success. The core team behind the Collaborator have won Grammy Awards, Emmy’s, Oscars and have been the recipient of much media praise for their dedication to integrity and quality of their productions.

When you join the Collaborator creative community, you will gain access to many free tolls and exclusive information that is dedicated to your advancement.

Each workshop contains an active discussion board where members can communicate regarding all aspects of their creative lives.

Private Offices

When you become an active member, you secure your own Private Office, a place where you can discuss your new projects, become part of a team, and show your portfoilio. You can post your new projects that seek collaboration on our Collaboration Board, asking for the team you are seeking.

Some members turn their offices into areas for the discussion of specific subjects and share them with of other members; others use them to collaborate directly with a handful of close collaborators. How you use your Private Office is entirely up to you.

In early 1999 we developed and empowered grassroots revolutionary event that enabled a music revolution. By its second year, Apple Computer was our webcast sponsor and hosted our event webcast on their home page. Sometimes we wonder how closely Apple was watching our every move as we outlined what would soon become the mainstream music on-demand world that Apple is currently known for leading. Over the course of the past twelve years we’ve enabled films to get launched as well as festivals and expositions to succeed. We wanted to do something that enabled the creative communities that we believe in to become self-reliant while maintaining creative control of their visions.

We decided to set up a set up a website where anyone could submit a short story concept to us online, and once approved, could be enabled by the creative swarm of the community.

We decided to bring together some of our favorite creative spirits that could work together collaboratively to enable new productions outside the system.

We are not anarchists or revolutionists. Instead, we believe in heart-felt projects that have the power to make a difference in the world. Through aligning with highly impactful creative talent and communities, we believed we could launch a project that has the potential to make a difference in the lives of others. By bringing various communities together, we have the potential to enable the production of numerous projects—not because they will win awards, but, instead, because we believe in them.

The power of the team

We are fostering a series of creative communities and plan to add many highly specialized workshops and highly specialized events dedicated to enabling new projects based on integrity, community cooperation and open collaboration. Some of these workshops will be led by people who have managed and helped shape the careers of some of the most successful performing artists and creative talent.

The Next Gen Collaborator is a submission destination and collaboration tool for creative individuals, a community with artistic communities can meet, push their careers along their way, and quite possibly have their screenplays, concepts and projects produced and then promoted by the power of open collaboration.
